Crystaline Conception

Some years ago before we had our first child my wife and I were discussing having children and both agreed we would like to have one. I carved her a pendant in quartz crystal that featured a baby in the womb, upside down and ready to be born. Nine or so months later we had a daughter. I don’t claim that the carving magically brought about our birth but I do believe intention has power. I carved this large Himalayan quartz crystal to celebrate and bring attention to the moment of conception. Here you can see an egg with many sperm swimming towards it and trying to enter but if you look close you may see that one has already made it.  This crystal is carved via reverse intaglio method so the images appear to be floating within and reflect from the various crystal faces. The bottom of the crystal is raw, uncut and not flattened. Excellent display piece, cactus/plant pot crystal, curio cabinet specimen or just hold it and meditate on your intention.
